NSA's are self-employed and do not work for the lender, title, or escrow company directly. They are hired as an impartial member to the signing process, who must also be able to notarize documents as instructed. The NSA is paid by the company who hired him/her.

Fees for Loan Signings

Charges range from $75 to $200, the standard edocs packages runs about $120 (for up to 300-350 pages total). Fax-backs (scanned and emailed) are charged at .50 each. The higher end of the $75-200 range could be due to extended travel, extensive number of pages within the document, the number of required fax-backs, having to travel more than one location to get all the signer's signatures, if more than two signers are involved, or if more than one loan is involved.

The Notary Public will need to be able to identify signers per the rules of the State of Ohio. Click here for more information on Acceptable ID.
